Marc Pilon

While growing up in Ottawa, Marc worked hard every day to balance his studies and athletics. Ultimately, he earned a football scholarship to the University of Syracuse. Following graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree, he had the opportunity to embark on what turned out to be a successful, eight-year career with the CFL in professional football, including playing with his hometown, Ottawa team for some of that time. During his career, he had the honour of being part of a Grey Cup winning team. Marc also worked hard to position himself so that he could explore another of his passions… home renovation. Between seasons, he bought, renovated and sold a number of homes.

What Marc learned through those experiences was the importance of both individual effort and teamwork. To be successful, both the individual and the team need to be disciplined and dedicated day in and day out. When Marc acquired Randall’s in 2019, one of the main things that impressed him about the company was the team of people who work hard every day to serve the needs of our customers. That is a fundamental principle to which Marc is also seriously dedicated. He knew that he and Randall’s would be a good fit.

Marc is proud to be the owner of a family-owned and operated, Ottawa-based, Canadian company. His goal is to focus on all the details of running a successful community-based business so that his staff can continue to focus on what they have come to be known and appreciated for city wide – exceeding our customers’ expectations, time and again.
